S-O-C-K-S?

Momma could not find any of my socks downstairs this morning so she put a pair of her socks on me so my feet would stay warm while I was on the tile. I know it looks funny but it worked! BTW, I can stand up and hold on to the bathtub and move to the left and right. It is the perfect height for me.

Sunny Days

It finally stopped raining in Houston for a few days and I got to go outside and run around, babystyle. Other than my baptism, I have not really been out of the house in about two weeks. Please give Lady a little privacy, she is doing her business right behind me.
Momma, I like this thing you call "sun"!
Everyone has got to have a roadie. I brought Tigger along on my ride.

P.S. - It is raining in Houston again.

Pull Ups

I got up all by my self. I can also pull up on my crib and the side of momma's bath tub. Isn't it funny how short I am?

Watch Out Archie, Here I Come...

Nothing is safe at our house anymore. I am on the move.

Luke's Mobility Report

Just wanted to let everyone know that in the last week (or ten days) Luke has not only started to really crawl, but he is also pulling up. He crawls fast and is strongly attracted to cords and door stops. We cannot wait to have a walking baby in the next few weeks (YIKES). We are frantically baby proofing our house to catch up our little guy. We thought the pulling up was limited to the crib until we saw him do it multiple times today.

Luke also got baptized this past weekend. It was a fantastic ceremony. 16 babies were baptized at St. Helen's on Sunday. Luke was the cutest, we think, although not the best behaved. Luke ate his candle box and made sure that the entire church heard him.

We posted lots of pics below and will update with his crawling and pull up pictures.

Downside of a mobile baby

No Momma, I was not going to get in Archie's kennel. I just crawled over here to shut his door.

Hippie Baby!

Sue Sue and Tim got me this awesome tie-dyed onesie. Daddy only lets me wear it on Sundays. I thought it would toughen up my image after wearing all those baby blue outfits that Nana likes so much.

I shudder at the thought of peas

Nana, please no more peas. Yuck. Gross.

Blogger Babies

Jett has traveled through Blogger space to come visit me in Houston. You can check him out through his link over on the right. I look a little wimpy in my light blue, especially when you see Jett's cool skater boy clothes. But, Nana likes it when I wear light blue and I'll do anything for Nana.
Jett and I started wrestling pretty early. I got him with a fingernail to the eye and Tia declared me the winner! Poor Jett was scared of me after that. Momma says I need to get around some other kids so that I lose this bully image.

RUN Buddy, RUUUNNN!

Buddy ran the Houston half-marathon on Sunday. It was cold and windy outside. We all went to see him at mile 3ish. Then we hauled over to mile 11 (or what we thought was mile 11)
Sue Sue made signs. She gets pretty emotional about marathons.
Momma was supposed to run the last few miles with Buddy, but we got too close to the finish line so she only ran about a mile with him. He did really well, and promised to do it next year with Momma.
Yay, Buddy finished the race!

Happy Birthday Leigh! The Big 3-0 was a lot of fun!

Momma and Daddy got to have a night out on the town to celebrate Leigh's 30th birthday. Their night started out innocently enough...
From what I hear, there must have been something funny in Leigh's Wonderwoman cake because things got kind of crazy after dinner (crazy for parents with youngster kiddos)
For the record, my mom did not dance on a stool! But I think everyone else did.
Mom was busy taking pictures of people taking pictures. Dad was enjoying the 80's hairband music at the bar where they went. They had lots of fun but stayed out too late for their 5:30 marathon wake up call!

Food. Now.

Dad, I hope that you realize that I will be your boss one day.

Holiday smiles from VA

The Montgomery/Divver family Christmas picture. We have been enjoying it on our fridge for a month and decided to share it with the rest you. Luke will get a chance to spend some time with his cousins this summer at Nana and Pappy's house and on our family cruise. We can't wait!

Tomorrow's My Birthday

In a total single white female move, my mom copied Farrell and Janet and put together my pictures from each of my previous month milestones. I am so much bigger now. Mom took me to a store on Saturday and weighed me and I was 19lbs 5ozs. I don't have my well baby check up until I am almost 7 months. So stay tuned for my height and head measurement!

Bathtime Rocks

I love the bath. It is possibly my favorite time of the day. I love the warm water and the toys. I especially love the wash rags. My mom keeps saying this is one of many bath pictures that will haunt me through life. Someone must have taken one of her.

BEWARE OF THESE TOYS

They are constant. If you just walk past them they go off. One giggles. The other says "Pat my letter tummy" and other crazy things. I know I am in for a lifetime of this, so I hope to develop selective hearing soon.

Super Trooper

Momma's friend Daniel Chavez came to visit while he was on a dinner break. He had a funny story to tell about chasing down some crazy criminals. We now say special prayers for him! He was so animated while telling his story, he had me cracking up. He also had our neighbors very nervous. They were worried wondering why a state trooper was parked outside my house. You never know in our 'hood.

Burning Calories

I have been a busy boy! I am scooting around all over the floor. When I was at Nana and Pappy's I sat up all by myself, and only Nana saw. I did it 3 or 4 more times for Momma, Daddy and Pappy to see. All that moving makes me really hungry so I have been tearing up the rice cereal. I love it now. I like peas too, but I am not much for the green beans.
Don't you love my camo outfit? When in Marshall...

Happy 2007!

I rang in the New Year with my pal Cade in Marshall, Texas. We are probably going to be in the same grade in school. Crazy! Cade was so sweet to me. He gave me a kiss on my head, and then tried to peg me with his bouncy ball!
So you know, I was scooting around on the floor in this picture. I made lots of progress this first week of the year.
