Luke - 30 months

Hi internet.

I'm 2 and 1/2 now. Rocking out to one of the new Christmas presents. I seem to get boo'd off stage often but I'm getting better every day. I am getting so big. Everyone things I have grown- I'll have to check in with the doc on that but I know my jeans are getting shorter. I love to jump in my jumping castle and ask for it almost every morning. I enjoy telling mommy and daddy "secrets" and blabbing secrets that they want me to keep to myself. I fall asleep faster and on my own now and if I cover my ears while sleeping I don't wake up to Davis' crying. I think noodles are gross but otherwise like all my old foods. I have been riding my scooter and bike with all the neighbor kids and wish I knew how to ripstick like the big boys--soon enough. I've been fishing with Daddy at the stocked pond at the park and also at Mimi's house. I've even wet a line with a real hook. Didn't catch anything though. I look forward to seeing all of my family and talking up a storm. I'm still pretty rough with little brother and can't wait for him to fight back. Looking forward to lots of fun this month. Talk to you all soon.

Davis ---8 months

Hey interneters,
it is me Davis again. I'm 8 months old now. Lots going on around here. As you can see I'm really on the move. I crawl all over the house, up the stairs, on the tile, in the bathrooms, the closets and under tables. I am also pulling up and moving up and down the couch, bed and bathtub. I don't know how to sit down/fall down yet though. Still working on that. Mommy hopes I learn soon because when I wake up at night that is my biggest problem. I also finally sit up on my own. I didn't really master that until recently. I am eating all the baby foods and have moved right into table foods like grapes, cheese, turkey and puffs. I love to eat. You better be prepared to give me food if you are eating. Otherwise, I will spill your food on you. I'm finally feeling better. No snots or snoring. I am learning baby signs and have learned to wave bye bye when you leave. I require Mommy and Daddy to pay me attention as soon as they walk into the door. I love to laugh at my big brother and I am getting better and catching up to him. I have had a growth spurt and barely fit into my 9 month clothes. I was still wearing 6 month clothes last month. I still only have my 2 teeth. I love taking baths and get really excited when I hear the water running. I can't wait for swim season! Talk to you all soon.

High Kicking Holiday Fun

What a fun day- Nana and Mommy took me and Brittany and Ashley to see the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular. It was awesome.

You can't tell here but our seats were so close- 14th row. The stage was right next to Mommy's chair. They ice skated right next to her head. And Santa (also known as Mr. Ho Ho Ho) walked right past me there.

I loved the show and was so good. I sat on Mommy's lap and watched the whole thing. I did not get up once. I am easily bribed by blue cotton candy and sprite.

Here I am Luke Ming (to confuse matters the Rockettes performed at the same place where the Rockets play basketball).

Fishing in the New Year

My buddy Keegan and his mom and dad came over to our house on New Years day. We played in my jumping castle but also practiced our casting. Keegan and I can't wait for our dads to take us on a real fishing trip. In a boat. In the ocean.

Check out our determination.

After fishing we had to test out the train table and all the other toys. Davis even got to play.
For some reason, I really wanted to play with all of my costumes when Keegan was over. Here, I mixed it up a bit call me Captain Skeleton.

Happy New Year

Mommy and Daddy dropped me and Davis off at Mimi and Buddys and then they headed back to our street to party with the neighbors. The night started off innocent enough.

Note Mommy's stretch before a flaming beverage. I hear she had practice with these when she was in college.

A rare Mommy and Daddy only picture.

The strike of midnight. Good thing Mommy stopped taking pictures then. I hear things got a little out of hand after that!! Happy New Year everyone.

Blending in with the Wildlife

Look at these wild animals! We went to the wildlife park in dickinson over the break. It was actually pretty fun. A new adventure.

How does a camel walk? Galumph, Galumph, Galumph.

Simmer down Daddy, it is protected in this park.

Michael Patrick looks a little freaked out by this Ostrich.

Feed time. So fun.
