Luke- 50 Months
Hi pals,
I've been so busy starting school, soccer, and gymnastics so I'm just getting around to my update. I was hesitant but I really enjoy gymnastics. My coach is Coach Wenesday. She has cool equipment and exercises. She even has us doing stretches. Not that there was any question but I'm big now. I finally had by 4 year old check up. I am 42.5 lbs, 44 inches tall. I have fantastic hearing and vision. I had both checked. That was pretty cool. I got 4 shots. 4!! OUCH. I'm quite the instigator, especially when it comes to Davis. I can really get his goat. Just saying "I'm gonna get you!" sets him off and running. I am still big into picking my own clothes and creating my own style. Lately this involves wearing two dri-fit shirts as many times in a week as the washing machine allows. I change undies and socks constantly. But don't worry, I am ALWAYS wearing socks. I am becoming more social and outgoing everyday. I have all new kids in my class. New kids on my soccer team. It is great. We have been to some fun birthday parties and have done some super fun hanging out between Field Day, aunts and uncles in town, hanging out with friends. I am writing my name mostly in order, coloring completely in the lines, and trying to learn to count. I'm getting better at video games and can sometimes beat Dad at Mario Kart. I can fold clothes, load the dishwasher and brush my teeth. And, I even bought my own deoderant at Target to be like Dad. I still love to cuddle with Mom or Dad while watching a movie though.
I'm growing up before your eyes. Hope you can keep up with me.
xoxo,
Luke

There were 4 in the bed and the little one said...
No joke, this has happened no less than 50 times. Thanks for capturing our sweet, crowded slumber Tia.

Davis 28 Months
Hi internet-
We are a little late with the update this month. That is mostly my fault. I'm a handful. Somtimes people forget I'm 2. And you know what they say about 2 right? It is terrible! I'm back to screaming, ear piercing screams. I'm also super defiant. But at the same time, I love to cuddle and be sweet every morning. I am actually pretty funny naturally and am honing my comedic timing. I love to copy what Luke does (and mess with him). We actually play together without our parents sometimes! This is new. I started school this month and like every part of it except the drop off. Man, that is tough. I hate to say good bye to Mimi or Mommy (and Daddy even dropped me off once). I like seeing all of my old classmates. We even have a few new kids in our class. I wake up every morning and ask to watch baseball (compare this to Luke's request for kid shows). I am even mildly irritated when Sports Center features a different sport. I'm going teetee in teh potty more but still have quite a ways to go with that. I have a sleep chart. If I sleep in my bed for 5 days straight and don't go down to mommy and daddy's room then I will get a toy. This has not happened yet. But it is a goal. It is good to have goals. I am still big into singing. I will just bust into song in the car, in the bath, and when I wake up. I even sing a country song that Mom and Dad think I made up. It is pretty catchy. I love all my books. My current favorite is "Going on a Bear Hunt". I know every single word. Its a great book. Pray that Mom and Dad have patience and happy thoughts (and fewer bars of soap and face pinches) and remember that I am quite the spunky two year old. Later Gators.
Your Lovey Dovey,
Davis

First Day of School 2010
We are so excited to go back to school. Big Brother and I were clowning before we left for school. I am in the 2 year old MDO class. I have Ms. Lisa and Ms. Nancy as my teachers. Luke is in Pre-K 4. He will now go to school 4 days a week. He has Ms. Debbie and Ms. Abrin. We are both so lucky.
Pic for the baby books.
I was trying to copy what Mommy was doing with the camera. Or at least that is what I told her.Babbling By Byman at 8:30 PM 3 comments
Family Field Day 2010
Field Day continued this year. This time we invited friends and family, 75 strong. Mommy, Sue Sue and Tia were team capitans. Sue Sue's team won overall but everyone had a great time. After the games we swam, ate, fished and played. It was so much fun.

Donuts with the Dinos
Ever since I went to zoo camp I have been wanting to show Mommy, Daddy and Davis the dinosaurs at the zoo. Yes, the zoo has an animatronic dinosaurs that even make noise. We had a chance to eat donuts with the dinosaurs and then do a fossil dig. It was so much fun.

Corpus Christi
In August we went to Corpus Christi with Mommy and Mimi. Mommy had a bankruptcy conference. We stayed right on the Bay at a hotel that had escalators and an indoor/outdoor pool. That was all great on its own. Then we had room service and two fun days of exploring Daddy's old stomping grounds. We can't wait to go back with Daddy some time. We toured the USS Lexington and the Aquarium. We also saw Daddy's old house and the building that he built. We saw a sailboat regatta and one of the coolest parks (Cole Park) that you have ever seen.
Here is the ship. It ranks up there as a favorite place for me and brother. It was awesome. Note that to get up to the flight deck you have to climb lots of ladders. That was not too bad for Mimi but she sure was worried about how we would all get back down. Lucky for her, the nice sailors showed us how to use a 60 year old escalator like stairs. Whew!
