The Monster Jam

We went for a boys night out at the Monster Jam this weekend. It was so cool and so loud.  Ryan and our neighbors came with us.
This picture was taken before we ate the huge Monster Truck filled with cotton candy.  There are no "after" pictures :).

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Daddy had a birthday this month.  We celebrated with the Montgomery's and Nana and Pappy.  Daddy had a delish oreo cake.  We helped him blow out the candles.
A rare picture of Mommy and Daddy celebrating! We had a yummy soup and the delicious cake and lots of fun! Happy Birthday Daddy!

Run Mommy Run

Mommy ran the Houston half marathon again.  She had an awesome cheering section.

We were also her support team.  She handed off her hot clothes and we gave her some Gu.
Back to the run Mommy!

Davis -44 Months

Hi pals,

It's me, Davis.  I had a fabulous Christmas and New Year's Eve.  I even ate black eyed peas and got some awesome luck. I found a quarter right after.  Buddy said, "That's fortuitous."  I said, "No Buddy, it is for one of us, Me!"  I'm full of sayings like that lately.  I'm also likely to throw out a few words I shouldn't too.  I was happy to go back to school to see my teachers and my friends but some mornings I insist that I have quit school.  I love to play with all my new beyblade toys.  I'm also obsessed with the Power Rangers and even like to play a Power Rangers app on Mommy's phone. I am still loyal to the Star Wars toys and often play with them quietly by myself, seriously.    I've been sleeping until the green light comes on my alarm clock.  That is awesome news for Mommy and Daddy too. I'm looking forward to signing up for t-ball this Spring and I'm hoping to get to do one other activity too.  In the meantime, I love going to story time at the library every Wednesday and checking out lots of books. I'm hoping to meet my new cousins soon too!  I hope you all enjoy the month!
Talk soon,
D

Luke - 66 Months

Hi guys!

How is it going? Hope you had great holidays and a happy new year.  We had a great Christmas and a fun New Year's Eve hanging out at our Mimi's house.  I'm glad school has started back.  I filled my good character chart for the second time (second kid to do that!).  I'm practicing my sight words all the time and mastering my take home readers each week.  Think I'm handling Kindergarten pretty well.  Not to mention, I love my classmates and teachers.  I think I have the best class.  It's been pretty mild weather around here lately so I've been practicing my skate board skills a lot.  I'm also very into booby trapping my clubhouse.  I'm growing like a weed and have started doing exercises with my mom and dad because I'm not in gymnastics anymore.  I am trying out for tball for the spring and think I might get to play soccer too, maybe.  We are borrowing Mommy's friend's piano and I'm excited to start piano lessons soon too.  I will be a busy boy.  Don't worry, I still have time for my lego building and brother fighting! I'm starting to sleep in longer in the mornings...sometimes we even have to rush to get me ready for school! Looking forward to fun stuff this month: Addams Family musical, Monster Jam truck show, and my second fun run! Stay tuned.

Luke

Christmas 2011

Santa was good to us again this year.  We are such fortunate kiddos!

 Davis' haul!
 My haul!
 Happy boy!
 Could I be happier? Nope.
 SCORE!
Nana and Pappy came to stay with us for Christmas. We had such a great time.
Aunt Michele and her crew were also at our house with the Montgomery grandparents.  Ashley looks like a panda bear.  Mary was super active this year too!
Ryan posing by this favorite thing- the choo choo train!
A highlight of our Christmas break- playing beyblades with Pappy.  We racked up some serious spin time over that week.  Mommy and Daddy were so happy Santa brought us the stadium.
By the end of the weekend we were overwhelmed by all the love, fun, and excitement.  Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season.

Christmas 2011 at Mimi and Buddy's

We had a great Christmas with Mimi and Buddy.  Sue Sue and Michael Patrick and Janette Koenig were there too.  We really missed Tia, PacMan, Wren and Nash but one week old babies don't travel! We got an awesome present from Mimi and Buddy- a new trampoline.  We are wearing it out every time we are over there!
Family portrait! Luke has a prop!
A picture of Mom and Dad together, that's rare!
 Presents, presents and more presents!
Michael Patrick raked it in- PS3 and two combat games!
