So, Momma went to Dr. Haufrect yesterday. Still the same. Davis is making his way to civilization. Momma still has to stay home. She has progressed but not that much. Looks like Davis will enter the world the way I did- inducement. The current scheduled date is May 6. Momma goes to one more doctor today. This doctor will take a final ultrasound (we have so many pics of Davis and he hasn't even arrived yet). She also has the power to trump Momma's doctor on the arrival date. Keep your fingers crossed that May 6 is as late as we will go.
I saw Momma boiling pacis today. Not my pacis- pacis for Davis. His car seat is strapped into the car. Momma is READY. Daddy's ready but doesn't feel the obvious urgency that Momma is dealing with. I still think Davis is a ball. But I'm ready for people to stop asking me- "what's in momma's tummy". We will keep you all posted if there are new developments. Otherwise- look for news on 5/6 and pray that the delivery is as seamless as mine was.

Getting ready for next years MS 150
Check me out- I'm really peddling. Forward.
Safety first (though still peddling). Gotta make sure my helmet is on right. Despite my large cranium, these helmets don't really fit yet. But Daddy makes me wear one anyway- good habits start early.

Air Show
Daddy was going to take me to the Galveston air show on Sunday. I love airplanes and helicopters so I was pretty stoked. I dressed like Daddy. Got my floppy hat and my juice box "traveller".
Daddy and I were goofing off before we left- here we are giving Momma our best fish faces.
Here we are practicing our "cheese" faces that we we're sure to flash at the pilots at the show.

Wanna be a Baller
Check out my form. I'm a natural. There was a big garage sale on our street this weekend. I really wanted this goal. Momma and Daddy were going to get me one for my birthday but decided they could not pass up the fantastic $2 deal. Momma's friend Barry came over to hang with us while Daddy was at an all day meeting and Barry taught me how to shoot the ball. Who knew Barry had such mad basketball skills? She made me look and shoot like a pro in no time.
I even get my own rebounds.
Momma- I'll give you something to take a picture of.

Daddy's Ride
Daddy did it again. He finished the MS150 bike ride from Houston to Austin (actually longer than 150 miles). Tia was there at the finish line to welcome him to Austin. Momma was too prego and I had double ear infections so we could not travel with Daddy. Daddy missed riding with Momma a little bit- but really he was glad she did not have to experience the unusual headwind ALL THE WAY to Austin. When Momma heard about the headwind she was even more grateful for Davis' pending arrival. The MS Society is still accepting donations to this great cause. If you can contribute please go to Daddy's donation page: http://www.ms150.org/edon.cfm?id=217858. The donation is tax deductible (whatever that means).

Update
Momma is still restricted to the casa. Fun for me- not fun for Momma. She is still working so I can't play like I want to. I say, time for Davis to make his appearance. We will keep you posted if anything exciting happens.

Shower for Baby No Name
Aunt Michele is having a baby (name pending) in August. We had a baby shower for her at a tea house. It was very nice. She got good loot for baby No Name and the food and drinks were very yummy!
Ahsley was very excited to have the tea. She got to have tea in a little tea cup and a big tea cup.
Aunt Michele got a diaper cake too. Pretty cool.
She also got a cool gift from Pappy. It is a lovey that says "Coyote Cactus." Coyote Cactus was a play name for the baby that has kind of stuck. Now it will for sure be remembered! Cute gift, Pappy.

Baby Davis coming soon?
Go ahead, say it- Momma is huge. Aunt Michele still has a way to go to catch up with Momma. This is Momma at 37 weeks. This is also the day that the doctors told Momma she had to take it easy (aka-restricted bed rest). At least through Monday. She has had some yucky back pain that makes her have to sit a lot. Dr. says her body is getting ready for Davis. Hopefully he can wait just a little longer.
Here is the current update from the internets:
Congratulations — your baby is full term! This means that if your baby arrives now, his lungs should be fully mature and ready to adjust to life outside the womb, even though your due date is still three weeks away.Your baby weighs 6 1/3 pounds and measures a bit over 19 inches, head to heel (like a stalk of Swiss chard). Many babies have a full head of hair at birth, with locks from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches long. But don't be surprised if your baby's hair isn't the same color as yours. Dark-haired couples are sometimes thrown for a loop when their children come out as blonds or redheads, and fair-haired couples have been surprised by Elvis look-alikes. And then, of course, some babies sport only peach fuzz.

Happy to You Marsha
I've been waiting all week for Aunt Marsha's birthday so I could sing "Happy to you". Not only did I sing, I helped Aunt Marsha blow out the candles. As you can see, Aunt Marsha had a lot of help.
Marsha's friend Jaci came to the party and brought Jackson. Jackson and I had fun picking up and throwing rocks. We are Boys.
Nana, say cheese.

21 Months Old
Howdy Ho! I'm 21 months old now. 21. I will probably be 21 months old when my baby brother gets here too. So I'm guessing this is my last update as an only child (that is also why it is a little late). I'm into everything lately. I run and hop everywhere I go. I love to play outside and Daddy put my water table back outside. Pure bliss playing at that table. My appetite has really grown. I eat almost as much as Daddy. Some nights I eat 3 dinners. I have also developed quite the taste for cereal. I like the flaky cereal the best. I am really starting to put all my words together. I say "Daddy, are you?" when I want to know where he is. I also say "Momma, thank you" when I get a treat. I'm picking up on baseball. I take practice swings on the Wii, throw the ball to Daddy, and watch on TV. I also watched a few hours of the Masters this month. Hours of gold. Scary thing? Momma did too. My sleeping is getting more normal. I only get pacis in my bed- that entices me to sleep up there all night (my smart parents). I've had some problems with my health lately- a massive double ear infection, croup, an eczema outbreak, and most recently hives that manifested as a result of my allergy to penicllin. Hives are no fun. I've also had lots of fun family time lately. Check out all our pictures and stay posted, I hear Davis is comin' any day now.
Love,
Luke

STRETCHHHH
My nose was running pretty bad so Momma asked me to get some tissue. I was barely gone a second and came back from Momma's bathroom with this long piece of TP.
I literally ran in with the TP. Momma and Daddy were cracking up.
Here is some of bounty.

Happy Birthday Buddy
Today was my Buddy's birthday. I went to his house to help him clean the yard and pool and check out all the animals. I also blew lots of bubbles, threw the frisbee and helped bring Buddy his cake. Happy Birthday Buddy!

Happy Birthday Aunt Michele
This is birthday week! Aunt Michele was first. We had a big dinner with the family at our house so Aunt Michele would not have to do dishes. We all had a great time.

Opening Night in H-Town
Daddy got tix to the Astros home opener so we got all duded up and went to the game with Aunt Marsha. I had so much fun despite the goofy outfit Momma made me wear.

Happy Birthday William
This weekend was my buddy William's 2nd birthday. He had a Thomas party and let us all play with sand and homemade Play-Doh. Conner and Caroline were at the party too. William also has a new brother- John David but he slept through the whole party. Momma said she is praying Davis is as good as Caroline and John David.
Momma loved this picture. It looks like a sneak peek of so much more to come from these three.
William's party had cake AND ice cream. William loved his CHOCOLATE ice cream. I had vanilla and it was pretty good too.

What the ?
Momma could not resist posting a picture of Mimi's Easter gift from Tia. Every year Tia gives Mimi some sort of Easter salt and pepper shakers (she is continuing a tradition Momma's Nina started). SO, this is the set from this year. A few questions first- is that really a carrot? does a carrot really bend in such a way? why is the carrot yellow? why is the bunny positioned like that? have you ever seen a bunny like that? why does the bunny have his eyed rolled back so far? There are not enough words, captions, or dirty thoughts regarding this set.
Next time you see Tia--- you should really ask her about this unique gift...
