I'm two wheelin' now, baby! Santa put the training wheels on my new bike up really high. I could barely use them so I asked Daddy if we could take them off. The rest is history. I still can't really start off or stop well on my own but I work on it every single day.
The day I kicked two wheeling hiney! 
Santa Claus hooked us up again this year. We got bikes!! Big Boy Bikes. They are awesome. I like mine because it is my favorite color, pond water. Davis likes his because it has 4 wheels and sits up higher than a tricycle. We also got sleeping bags for a possible future camping trip (or just for sleep overs). Davis was thrilled to get a Dippin' Dots maker and he swears that I can use it too.
I got a Paper Jam from Santa. Daddy got one from Mimi. Davis was irritated that no one considered his silent pleas for a Paper Jam. Luckily, Mimi had an extra and passed it on to Davis. Now we have some rockin' Paper Jam concerts. (Ed. note- the Paper Jams each play 3 different songs. At anyone time you can hear Sweet Home Alabama, Hey There Delila, and some death metal song all going at once). 
Mom and Dad got us Buzz Lightyear snuggies. These are much cooler than you would think. We've been napping in them ever since Christmas (and after Daddy washed them because they smelled like "rotten berries").
It was cold on Christmas morning. And dreary. So, we rode our bikes inside. Can you believe Mommy did not even freak out about that? I guess she had holiday delirium.
Davis was excited because he got a book about Christmas from Sue Sue and then another one from Santa. He aslo got a 'Stros hat. He was jazzed up. The holidays were stressful for him but he was sure glad that there were plenty of naps and times to snuggle with Mommy and Daddy. He caught up on a lot of sleep over Christmas weekend. It was great. 
Merry Christmas Eve from us to you! We spent Christmas Eve at Mimi and Buddy's. It was major fun.

Finally, Luke's Toy Story character collection is complete.
Mimi got Buddy a hobby for Christmas...he is going to make a Chris Craft boat. He is super excited. We saw the package, there are a lot of pieces. Buddy is going to be busy!
Cousin Nash (aka Nashie; aka Nash Potato) was at Mimi's house too. He is crawling and pulling up everywhere. He got tons of cool toys and books. He also got a wagon that he hated to get out of. It was a hit. 
I was so tired after we opened presents that while everyone else cleaned and watched movies I crashed out in Buddy's chair.
Here Mommy and Tia are helping Sue Sue spend money on her brand new Kindle before we headed home to sprinkle Santa dust and wait for the jolly, good man. 
We celebrated Christmas with the Bymans the weekend before Christmas so that we could see Aunt Marsha and Uncle Matt and Aunt Sally and Uncle Floyd. There was a house full of cousins and fun! Check out all of those stockings.

YAY a Pillow Pet for Davis too! We now have two dogs, two crabs, a beta fish (Luke's Christmas gift from Mary), and two Pillow Pets.
Cousin Brittany got Paper Jamz and an amp. Cousin Ryan decided to climb in the skinny box! Funny cousin.

After we opened our presents we played Pappy's version of Deal or No Deal. He gives us each an envelope. We can keep it (and the money in it) or sell it to Pappy for $20 or pick from an envelope that was returned. This year he added a twist, if you got $20 you could double it by taking a challenge. Daddy, Kyle and Uncle Rob had the same challenge. Pappy covered bowls and made them guess whether they were feeling deer brain, eyes, tongue or intestines. We did not think Kyle would make it through the challenge. He gagged more than once!!
Uncle Rob went second. We think he was on to the fact that Pappy was playing a trick on them but he said, "With Pappy you can't be sure!"
Daddy went third. He was also on to Pappy's joke (allegedly) but he played along. What's the joke you ask? In the bowls were noodles, grapes, stewed tomatoes and canned pears! Silly Pappy! Worth every bit of $20 though!
A little cousin energy exertion.
After presents, lunch, naps and lots of playing we headed into Marshall to the Wonderland of Lights for Snow Tubing. Both Davis and I got to tube. It was awesome. Davis' hill was a little smaller than mine but we all had a blast. It was great fun.
To top off the festival we took a train ride and then headed home. It was cold!
Finally, we played Bingo. Nana and Pappy saved up all of their funny casino winnings (pizza stones, digital picture frames, Tiffany's wine glasses, umbrellas, football bags, crock pots, and skillets) and Texas quarters to use as prizes for the bingo winners. Pappy and then Daddy called bingo. It was so fun. They used bingo lingo to spice it up a bit. Kids and adults played and won. At first I was a sad that I did not win every game but I won two in a row and that made it all better. We won Tiffany wine glasses, a crystal bowl, a football bag and an umbrella. Pappy threw in a few quarters for us too. Super fun way to end the night. We had a great time. This will be hard to top next year!! 
We've been super busy with holiday celebrations and lots of other things too. In early December we went to Conner and Caroline's pirate and princess party. I wore my pirate costume the whole time. Luke shed his after a few minutes but brought out his claw for this photo op. PS- Mrs. Courtney made the castle you see us posing in. Awesome!
We also went to lunch with Mommy's friend, Daniel Chavez. His dad, Mr. Chaves, let us try on this cool British bobby helmet. Don't I look regal? Daniel also gave Luke and I tons of Secret Service souveniers. We each have badge like pins. Luke actually thinks he is in the Secret Service. PS- this pic was taken after a trip to the zoo with Nash and Tia and PacMan. Busy day! And Luke got kicked by a chimpanzee (through the window) for the second time in two visits.
In mid December Daddy went to Alpine with a work friend to go mule deer hunting. In less than an hour of being on the ranch he texted this picture to Mommy. Not a bad bag for an hour's worth of hunting!
Not only was the hunting awesome but Daddy got to travel in style on this super fly jet.
On the winter solstice there was a full moon and a lunar eclipse. Daddy and Luke woke up, bundled up and went outside to view the event. Daddy got some pretty cool pictures. Here is one. It was pretty cloudy that night so they were happy to see anything. Looks like it was a good show to me! 
We know you were wondering if our Elf on the Shelf, Little Boy was back. He is! He was a little more mischevious this year. He made a mess in our cereal boxes (and we had to clean it up). He got in a fight with (and was lassoed by) one of Mommy's snowmen decorations. He also got hot in Houston and spent a whole day in our freezer (next to Davis slushie that he swears he will drink when it gets hot outside).
After the day in the freezer LIttle Boy spent a day warming up on Hurley and Blue Shepard's cage. For those who don't know, Hurley and Blue Shepard are our hermit crabs. 
We nailed the 2010 Christmas Program at school. We sang Christmas Carols and had a nativity enactment. My 4 year old class preformed two days in a row. Mom, Dad and Mimi came the first day. Davis' class also got to come. Davis and Mom came for the second showing. I think we all sounded awesome.
After the program Mom and Dad came to Christmas parties in each of our classes. Davis was so happy to have them there.
Mommy came and posed in front of the fireplace in my class. Notice my reindeer craft frame. It is so cute.
Here are some of my friends, Max and Aiden. All the girls left after the program on the first day so it was an all boy afternoon. So Fun.
I was a little less stiff on Day 2. We were all pretty tired of the papparatzi parents. I'm giving them something to photograph! 
We went to visit Daddy at work one Friday and then headed over to Moody Garden's festival of lights. It was such a fun time. Dad isn't building anything yet but we still toured the work trailer and kept up the Safety First motto.
There were over a million lights at Moody Gardens. One Million. It was awesome.

Heads up Dad! 
We took a quick trip to Africa in early December. Just kidding. We took advantage of the sneak peak of the African Forest at the Houston Zoo. It is open for everyone now, finally. It is so super awesome. Big brother and I saw chimps, rhinos, and the giraffe's new enclosure. While we were there we took a quick look around to some of the other animals. And of course checked on my favorite, Tupelo, the new baby elephant.
Luke's such a warrior. He even took on a rhino. 
The giraffes have an awesome new home. You can even watch them get baths. I think you can feed them from the fence right in front in the picture but that was not really open when we went.
