GIMME SOME RED VINES

YUMMM! Momma bought this huge tub of licorice for our trip to the beach. She just knew that everyone would finish it off. Ha. They hardly put a dent in it. We came home with 2.1 lbs of Red Vines. No worries, Luke to the rescue. I discovered that I LOVE this stuff. I love it so much I will run from any room in the house into the kitchen, stand under the counter where the tub is and point and grunt until I get a little bit of the good stuff. No wonder my parents don't want to give me candy. That stuff is addicting.

Note, I do not actually get to eat the whole vine. It was only a prop for this picture.
Right here I am clearly enjoying a little snipet of Red Vine. Yum.

More beach pics

Momma really likes this pic
Family beach pic. I am giving Momma a very nice mud bath. I heard it was great for her skin. I ruined her new cover up-it was not meant to withstand a mud bath.
Here is the crab that Daddy, Pac-Man and Tim caught. No worries PETA, they let him go.
Here is this years sand sculpture. It is Triton with his trident (spear). Good job to all my aunts, Pac-Man, Tim and Adrien who helped bring him to life. And thanks to me for not stepping on him.
Ahh, how cute. Pac-Man and Tim got sleepy (they must put something in those shiny cans they were drinking out of) at the beach and took a nap on the blanket Momma brought for me to sleep on. I was much to excited to sleep at the beach so I had to take my nap back at the house in my Pack-n-Play.

P.S.- Don't you think that their matching bathing suits are adorable?

P.P.S.- Did you notice the obligatory 6 inches of space between these two guys?

I heart the Gulf of Mexico

We FINALLY made it to the beach. I slept almost the whole way down. I could not believe how cool everything was when we go there. Plus, Tia and Pac-Man were there waiting for me.
I love the water. I baby ran all the way into the surf. It was awesome until a wave rolled over me while I was down on all fours. Doesn't the surf know that you aren't supposed to get a guy while he is down?
Here is my chair. Momma put me in it to take this picture. Enough said.
I made Momma and Daddy get in the water with me.
And now, let my sand eating begin.

Walking Machine

Finally, Momma took a video of me walking. Check me out. I am a mobile man!

Have you seen my crib?

Here are pics of my playhouse that my neighbors gave me. I love to open and close the shudders and the door. Plus, I hide all of my balls in the playhouse, then I throw them out of the windows.
Howdy!

I love this playhouse.

CRASHED

Oh, what a day. I was a busy boy. I ran errands with Daddy and then went to buy some "walking shoes" with Momma. Then we stopped by the toy store and I screamed "ELMMOOO" when I saw my favorite furry red character. Momma was so impressed she bought him for me. On the way home I took a nap with my Elmo and then when I got home I finished my nap with Elmo on my Momma.

Game Night

Momma and Daddy had some pals over for game night on Friday. I was only around for about ten minutes of the festivities but it looked like they were going to have a lot of fun. I heard lots of laughing and good hearted competition, at least it seemed good hearted. I hope everyone can come over again soon.

Dirty Boy

Mimi let me help with the plants the other day. I was a big help. This plant had way to much dirt in it.

Look at me. Dirty Boy.

Momma's First Mothers Day (and no pic to prove it)!

On Mother's Day we went to Mimi and Buddy's for some yummy hamburgers. I was all ready to swim and fish (see my fishin' vest) and then it started to rain. Before the rain came I gave TC a tour of my wheels. I showed him all the hiding places and the tin of mints I have been hiding in them. TC was very impressed.
Daddy and I played in SueSue's hammock chair too. It is a lot of fun. More fun than the baby swing. Momma and I were in it too but no one took a picture. Punks.

Do Not Try This at Home

Really, there is no explanation.

10 Months Old

I'm 10 months old now. What a month. I have really matured. I am really, really walking now. Like everywhere. I like to saw "eow" for the kitty cat and "moo" for the cow. I can say "HEY" when you come into the room too. I also like to shriek a lot. I am a loud shrieker. I continue to chant da-da-da at most things. I eat everything in sight, and the only food I really don't like so far is hummus (who would give a baby hummus anyway?). I give lots of open mouth kisses and am very cuddly with Momma, Daddy, Mimi and Buddy. I even give Aunt Marsha and Sue-Sue some of my good hugs. I have also been treating my parents to a few nights of uninterrupted sleep (they deserve a break every now and then). I have been swimming and I also took my first shower. I love playing in the water, no matter what form. I am going to go to the beach this month- I think I'm going to like the Gulf of Mexico too! That's my update. See you cats soon-

Zoo Pals

I FINALLY met my blog friend Ben! We went to the zoo (with our moms) on Saturday. It was a lot of fun. I had never seen a giraffe before. Wow, they are big. In this picture we are watching two big horned cattle fight. Mesmerizing. And don't let this picture fool you, Ben is a big kid too. Bigger then me, even though I am a few weeks older.
Ben was really gentle and totally into petting the goats. I, on the other hand, wanted to bother the animals that were grazing in the "no kids zone".
Here, the Momma Orangutan brought her baby over to see Ben and me. But...
as you can see, Ben and I were much too busy playing with the dirt on the ground to care or notice.

Utopia

Check it out. There is my new Sesame Street scooter on the right and a whole LOTTA new toys from my neighbors Kyle and Brandon. I played with all of them tonight, already. New toys are so much fun. I also got a new playhouse from Kyle and Brandon. I played in it for almost 30 minutes before going night night. It is a great place to put all of my toy balls. Now no one can find them but me. (Pictures of the playhouse to come). Thanks Kyle and Brandon- You can come visit your old toys whenever you want.

Oh yes we were at that Yankee game

Yep, we were there, at that game, the game where Roger Clemens announced to all New Yorkers that he would be returning to the Yankees. Suckers.

At first we just thought that we were attending a game at one of the most popular baseball stadiums in the country. We saw some batting practice...
Then we saw Momma's boy Jeter catch some cool balls...
Then we saw a bench clearing brawl...
We sat behind two super cool New Yorkers. They showed us how to score a base ball game, how to wear your cap so you aren't too "square" and how to properly salute the Mariners starting line up. These gals were fun to hang around. Oh, and the best thing, the thing that makes up for the crazy sell out by Roger, these girls got us up on the Jumbotron. Yep, we were on the jumbo tron at Yankee Stadium. Thanks ladies. Hope to hear from you soon.

And here is a pic of the announcement- The announcer interupted "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" and directed everyone's attention to the owner's box, at that point, Roger appeared and the whole place went crazy. For $28 million, I'd probably leave H-Town too. Hope he helps, Yankees.

The Big Apple

Momma and Daddy went to NYC. First time for Daddy and second time in a month for Momma. Technically, they went so Momma could go to a conference. But, they were able to fit in a trip to the top of another tall building, to the really big park where all the babies hang out, a trip to Brooklyn on the train and a walk back on the bridge, and a game at Yankee stadium. They saw Dan Akroyd and Vince Young while they were gone. Momma took a lot of self portraits. Check them out below.

Who needs a dustbuster?

Momma left her chair a little too close to my highchair and look what happened. This is just one reason that Archie lives outside 18 hours a day.

Just a Sunday Afternoon in Manvel

It is getting hot in the Houston area! We were so hot at the International Festival that Momma and Daddy decided to get a kiddy pool to cool us all down. Daddy thought beers might help too! Daddy and Momma bought this ultra classy blow up pool with an ocean scene on the side. It was pretty big and over 2 feet deep. We are sure the neighbors would be impressed. Sue Sue and Tim brought the cousins over. We also set up my new splash pad- it was a lot colder than the pool. The big kids used it like a slip and slide to jump into the pool. It looked like fun. I prefer to just sit on the splash pad.
Momma brought out all the fancy lawn chairs. Even my cute little chair. We also got quite the show from Archie and Annie. Those dirty dogs.
Get a room.
