Sunday was a great family day for us. We woke up early and went to get donuts. Yum. Then we went to the zoo. We were one of the first families into the zoo and went straight to the Cats section. We saw this guy, his cousin the tiger and the super creepy black leopard.
Doesn't it look like we had the zoo to ourselves? We did for almost 30 minutes. It was awesome. The animals were all awake and roaming around. It was so quiet you could hear them walk. Here I am checking out the bears. The big one was already down in the ravine. From here we were off to the children's zoo. I saw goats, bats, and prairie dogs.
Then a break in the splash area. Davis sat this part out.
By the time we got to the carousel, I was pretty beat and needed a rest. I still had enough fight in me to demand sitting on the snow leopard (as opposed to the other 3 leopards on the carousel).
Davis even took a spin on the carousel. I rode twice, he only rode once. Then Momma and I took a spin on the new Hermann Park train- it is awesome even though the engine does not resemble Thomas at all! I can't wait to go back.

The Bullfrog
You all know how much Momma loves frogs. Well, Mimi and Buddy have at least 3 HUGE bullfrogs in the pond. Daddy knows how much Momma loves frogs too so he keeps trying to catch the frogs with his fishing pole. Mostly for sport but he is also drawn to the idea of catching one of these monsters and chasing Momma all over the place. He finally caught one and lucky for Momma, she wasn't with us.
Seriously, how nasty are these things? Even I wouldn't touch it. And really, how dumb of a frog do you have to be to get caught by a fishing lure?

Ahh. Daddy and Luke.
Ahh. T.C. and Davis. TC is going to be Davis' godfather. They were bonding at Mimi's house.

Jackson and Presley's Party
My pals Jackson and Presley turned 2 last weekend. We went to a fun filled farm party at their house. They had pony rides, a "tractor" pulled hay ride, cow and pig suckers, and a barnyard cake. I had a blast.
Oh yeah, they also had a petting zoo- at their house. Rock On. I loved chasing all the animals around. Funny thing- I almost never caught 'em. I visited the petting zoo and rode the pony about 10 times each. Now I want a pony AND a bunny rabbit. Happy Birthday Jackson and Presley.

25 Months Old
Now that I am 2 I am more of a bullet point kind of guy.
- I finished swim lessons with Mommy-about to go to 2 year swim camp.
- I keep tee-teeing on the potty. No poops yet.
- I can cast a fishing pole all by myself.
- I can play the baseball game on the Wii.
- I have decided that morning is much better received in Mommy and Daddy's bed so I like to sneak in there in the middle of the night and see if I can go undetected until morning.
- I have started to show true emotion by exclaiming "Dang It" when things don't go my way.
- I ask to take a nap sometimes.
- When Mommy leaves in the morning I wave from the window and blow kisses and when she comes home I say "back to work again mommy?"
- I spent the night at Mimi and Buddy's twice in the last month. That's fun times.
- Aunt Marsha hosted a dinner party and let me come! I got to see the train 3 times and even touched it once.
- School starts soon- I can't wait.

The cutest thing!
Check out our boys: http://www.photodex.com/sharing/viewshow.html?fl=3005359&alb=0
Its a slideshow. These pics were taken by Karin Hendley. She was at our house less than one hour and got some fantastic shots (and yes, I know I'm biased). Her website is www.karinhendleyphotography.com. I highly recommend her!

3 months old

Little Brother is 3 months old now. He is growing like a weed. He is long and skinny. He still likes to sleep a lot at night- he sleeps way more than me. He turned over from tummy to back at week 11 and has done it a few times since then- all in his sleep. He would probably do it while he was awake but hasn't because he doesn't ever lay down, people love to hold Little Brother. His refulx is improving. He has a formula bottle at night with a bunch of rice protein in it and that seems to really do the trick. He still spits up but it is drastically reduced in volume. He is 100% in his nursery room now and so are all his clothes. He has quite the wardrobe. I love his hats and try to wear them often. He went for his first extended dip in the pool this month and liked it. He continues to put up with my baby talking him and getting in his face. One day- he will fight back though. I'm waiting! He goes to the doctor next month so we will fill you all in on stats then. In the meantime I think he is going to start sitting in the Bumbo and maybe turn from back to tummy.

Full Blood Aggie
Everyone knows my Momma and Daddy are not very red a** when it comes to being good Aggie alums. But, i did a little snooping and I found my Daddy's senior boots from when he was in the Corp. I also found his ribbon from the Cav. Senior boots are pretty cool. Not sure I want some for myself but they were a cool discovery.
I'm still a little small. Daddy was pretty proud of my discovery. I looked at pictures of his Corp buddies in their boots too. But I was only so into it. When Daddy asked if I wanted to keep the pictures in my room I said "no thank you Daddy" and walked away from the whole thing!
Mommy says ignore all the junk in the study because it is becoming the "garage sale storage room."

Darn Cable Modems
Mommy apologizes for the lack of blog posts but our internet is on the fritz. When the repairman came out to fix it he confirmed this by telling Mommy "Your internet doesn't work.". Seriously- I guess we now know why she randomly decided to call and invite you out here to visit? ugh. It has been out over a week. Mommy is in withdrawl mode. She also went back to work yesterday-fun times for us. Since the last update we have been very busy. Pictures and narratives are soon to come (we hope).
BTW, TS Edouard was a bust. At least we got some rain.
