We thought it might be helpful if we quantified just how much Davis can eat in a day. Yesterday we were traveling home from Marshall but he managed to put away the following:
Breakfast:
Kellogg's Corn Pop's cereal
raisins
8 donut holes
an Otter Pop from uncle Floyd
Lunch and Snacks
1.5 turkey dogs
6 chunks of watermelon
10 fritos (some with cheese dip, some with bean dip, some plain)
a small portion of Nana's chicken spaghetti (for lunch along with the hotdog)
5 skittles in the car
Animal crackers
Dinner
one tortilla with queso
one small chicken quesidilla (half a tortilla folded over)
chips and salsa
free soft serve from Gringos
Beverages
3 glasses of milk
almost a gallon of water
Sounds like an antacid commercial.

One of my lines...
My aunt Marsha got married this past weekend. It was quite the affair. She looked beautiful. I wanted her to know how pretty she looked so when she made her debut into the santuary for some pre-wedding pictures I hollered out, "Aunt Marsha you look just like Princess Fiona". She was so flattered!

Bumper Boats
Mimi bought Buddy some bumper boats for Father's Day. We had to go check them out and play. They are pretty fun. Buddy and Michael Patrick have mad bumper boat skills.

First Haircut
Davis got his first haircut on Saturday. Mommy learned her lesson with me. No barbershop for Davis. He went to a kid friendly hair place (for 3x the price).

Summer Fun
We went to the St. Helen's Bazaar last weekend. It was fun and HOT.
To cool off Mommy and I rode these swings. This was the longest amusement ride ever. It last like 4 minutes. I was kindly asking the operator stop it after about 105 rotations.
The neighbors all came out and we had a splash pad and pizza night. Good times. I loved going down the slide, launching waterballoons and doing the slip n slide.
Davis loved eating his pizza and everyone else's pizza too!
Waterballoon launching towards all the moms was much fun.Babbling By Byman at 4:12 PM 0 comments

Luke 35 months
What up? Feel like I haven't talked to you guys in ages. Mom and Dad are B-U-S-Y at work and at home. I've been spending most of my time in SWIMMING. I love the water. I just finished my two week swim lesson camp with coach Juan. I'm fearless now (not always a good thing). I like swimming at Mimi's, the neighborhood pool and at Mr. Brian Green's house (picture above). I'm still trying to shake my naps and hate the concept of "quiet time." I've been going to lots of fun birthday parties and can't wait for my own next month. I have a wish list a mile long. I love reading and being read to lately. I also love gardening. Mimi and Buddy have a HUGE garden this year and I'm all about regulating it. I'm in charge of Mommy's little bucket garden that Mrs. Leigh gave her. We got about 15 tomatoes already out of the bucket. I'm looking forward to a fun, relaxing summer and Aunt Marsha's wedding in just a few weeks. We are really going to try to update more on the blog this month and this summer. Help me hold mommy to that promise. Talk to you all soon (and remember, my big 3 finger birthday is next update- Yippee!).

Davis- 13 months
At 13 months Davis is moving and grooving. He is always walking or running. He is starting to say words other than "Archie" like Fish, Toy, Mimi, Buddy, Veronica. I say Davis can say roof, santa, indian and bed but we haven't heard that. Davis has had a rough month. He has had a nasty stomach bug with all the gross side effects and he is also teething and running a fever every night to go along with that. He's learning the pure bliss associated with popsicles in the summer time and the relief that a sprinkler can provide on a hot afternoon. He started Mommy and Me swim lessons with mommy on Saturday mornings. He's the youngest in the class but seems to really like it. He likes swimming in Mimi's pool too. And putting his head in the water in the bathtub (you really have to watch the Byman boys during bath time). He is still taking two naps most days but his nighttime routine is messed up with the teething. He is 100% into whole milk and has gotten rid of his bottles without looking back. He still has the paci and still holds it in his own unique way but that is not for long. He loves playing outside and is so thrilled to have Luke and Veronica and MPTB home for the summer. He is ready to see all the Montgomery Divver cousins too (once the big wedding is over this summer). Looking forward to a hot fun summer. Holla at you at the next update!

Catching Up [insert long sigh here]
Life's been crazy since our vacay at the beach. The very next weekend we went to a crawfish boil at Mr. Brian Green's house. Keegan was there too. He and I had a blast swimming in the pool. We were so busy we couldn't sit still for a picture together.
The next weekend I had birthday parties and then some friends from Mommy's work came over. For some reason, we have no pictures of the friend, Madeline, but trust me, she is in the jumpy castle jumping. She's almost 5 and was very fun to play with. I hope she comes over again (and brings her little brother Matthew-he's a happy baby).Babbling By Byman at 8:48 AM 0 comments
