Remember when we got Mommy those tix to the baseball games for Mother's day? Well today was our last set of tickets. We saw the Astros whoop up on the Reds. 4 runs in the game. Hunter Pence even hit a home run. I was decked out for the game. See my Benny hat?

Happy Camper
I went to 3 camps this summer. You already heard about vacation bible school. I also went to KidVenture day camp and Zoo Camp. Kid Venture was so much fun. I went with a bunch of my neighbor friends. The theme was Road Trip Across the USA. For our final program, the younger bunch (that I was part of) sang Deep in the Heart of Texas. We also did lots of songs with the big kids. I won the Most Patriotic award and was chonsen to pick a special prize out of the treasure chest. Kid Venture camp was lots and lots of fun.
Here is some of the little group. We needed a little more direction than we were getting right then!
Here is our neighbor crew, minus Thomas. We all car pooled and had so much fun together. Here you can see me displaying my latest bad habit- throwing up the Hook Em Horns sign in pictures. What are my Aggie parents going to do with me?
I also went to zoo camp with neighbor friends. We had so much fun and learned something new and different every day. We saw all the animal habitats. We got to play with some animals. We also learned lots of self confidence and safety lessons. We were so busy we could not take naps. I've sure missed my naps!Babbling By Byman at 5:47 PM 1 comments
48 Months Old
As you already know, I turned 4 and had a super cool dinosaur party recently. I am getting so big, and I don't mean that in the cliche way. I am 41.5 lbs on the home scale (my well kid appt is not until September). I am growing out of all my 4T shirts. I am helping with chores like making my bed and cleaning up and I am also offering to help do other stuff too. I am all boy all the time. I love baseball, frogs, soccer and acting silly. I talk about gross stuff, like just today, I recommended that mommy eat peanut butter and possum stew with a toot in it. I have been frog hunting in all of our rain- one night we caught 40 frogs. I toot up a storm, but do say "excuse me" most of the time. I love taking batting practice in the back yard with Daddy and Davis and I connect a lot. Mommy loves to see me tap the ground a time or two with the bat before I get in my batting stance. Mimi and Buddy got me some sweet baseball high tops and a Dodgers hat for my birthday so I'm ready to play baseball anytime. I got a new bookshelf in my room to put all my cool stuff on display. I insisted we tidy up my room since the rest of the house is getting a makeover. I'm pretty rough on Davis. I'm always hanging on to parts of him or knocking him down. I'm getting braver- I think that camp helped me with that. That is right, I went to 3 camps this summer. I had a blast. I am starting to write my name but I don't like to write it in order or to include a K. I'm sure this will improve once I start practicing more. In food news, I actually ate some pasta recently and it wasn't that bad. I like yogurt now too. I had a blast playing with my cousin Nash recently and am looking forward to the arrival of a girl cousin on the Byman side. I started summer soccer, I'm still swimming. I am a busy boy. Stay tuned for more updates.Babbling By Byman at 5:33 PM 0 comments

Happy birthday pal
Keegan turned 4 a few days before me. His party was the day before mine and it was fun. It was a monster truck party at his dad's tae kwon do studio. We even stayed for an after party. But even with all of that, mom didn't get a single picture of us with Keegan. Maybe it is because Daddy and Mr. Angus were being so silly the whole time.

Welcome Hurley!
Meet the newest Byman- Hurley the Hermit Crab. Veronica gave him to me as my birthday present. So far, he is taking his introduction slow and only gracing us with his presence occasionally but we hear he will get more comfortable soon. He has an awesome habitat that we will have to photograph better but for now, enjoy his debut!

Happy Birthday!
Special birthday message from Daddy. He has mad etch a sketch skills!

I got Mighty Beans from Lady and Archie.
No surprise the birthday banner was in full effect! I had the honor of seeing it at 4 a.m. when I ran down stairs to make sure we could celebrate my birthday! Let the record reflect that this is the year that Davis gave me a toy shotgun that has shells and makes a very authentic noise. Ahh Boys.
My party was at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. It was a dinosaur party and it was totally awesome (or at least that is what I told Mom and Dad afterwards). We had the honor/bad luck of having my party at the same time the "corpse flower" was supposed to bloom. We made the best of it and promised an authentic dinosaur experience!
Here are some of my friends (and my lil' brother). You got to do a craft, eat lunch, tour the dinosaurs and see live animals. Sweet!
Make no mistake- I'm 4 now!
Here we are lining up to see the dinos. Lines are serious business to 4 year olds!
Just a few of the big guys. I called them "you bag of bones" when I passed them.
I know it is not a dinosaur, but we all really liked to watch the pendulum swing. It is so calming.
My first store bought birthday cake. It was delish! And cute. I think my mom might be throwing in the cake towel now that she saw how easy this worked out.
Blowing out my candle. Ready for cake! I made a wish but I won't tell you what it was (well, I will tell you but I won't let mom post it on the internet). A guy has to keep some things to himself.
Our party host brought in live animals for us to play with. Here is the tortoise. His shell feels pretty cool.
And a slimy salamander. Mommy is adding these to her list of things to be irrationally afraid of. Daddy is starting to hunt for salamanders now!
I feel pretty similar about the salamander. We also got to see a corn snake. Pretty cool.
I was too sleepy to open my presents at the party so I had to wait until after my nap. I totally raked it in. Thanks for all the presents peeps. I love everything. Especially these Buzz Lightyear wings. They go up and down at the push of a button. Mom and Dad like this toy because in huge letters the toy warns you that it cannot actually fly! I'm still opening and playing with all my toys, this might take a while. Stay tuned for more toy pics in the coming days (or weeks at the rate we are blogging lately). Police Free Fireworks
So, this year the fireworks were a little more tame. Nothing aeriel or that makes any loud sounds! Because of this, most people did not stay. But that is ok, we still had fun! We did smoke bombs- those are cool and keep mosquitoes away!

Happy Birthday America
We blew out the 4th of July for a whole weekend. It has been raining so much around here we were just thrilled to get out in some sunshine. Mommy's boss had a party on the third down in Galveston. We had watermelon, played on the hammock and rode in Mr. Rhett's boat. It was fun. We put the hurt on some watermelon. This was the first two of probably six pieces.
Mr. Rhett has a hammock. Some of the party people wrapped big brother up and swung him around. He was cracking up. Check out our mohawks. Pretty radical!
On the 4th of July we had a party at Mimi's. We had a waterslide and lots of yummy foods. We had lots of friends over. People were swimming, fishing, swinging, sliding, playing horseshoes, playing with turtles that Buddy trapped. It was so much fun. We are still recovering!Babbling By Byman at 7:19 PM 0 comments
