Stinky Boy

Mom: Luke did you just toot?
Luke (moving towards mom on couch): yes, please smell it.
Mom: No way.
Luke: Ok, smell my feet.

Who needs girls?

Hi.
Right now I can't say hi but I can sure wave it at you. I like to wave, high five and blow kisses. I'm a flirt in the worst way. I am giving those huge open mouth kisses now that cover your chin with slobber. I am crawling everywhere now. Fast and with my knees up. I also pull myself up and around the couch, bathtub and my push toys. My third tooth just broke through on the top. I love drinking water out of my cup. And, I can eat all my food on my own. And, this is a big deal- I've stopped spitting up almost completely. This is great news. With this milestone I've put on weight and have a ginormous belly working. I eat everything. Everything. Adult sized portions of everything. I'm learning to wrestle with big brother and I have a mean head butt move that causes pain! I still don't sleep in very late but I sleep well while I'm down. I went to the doctor this week. I'm 20lbs 8ozs, (50%); 29.5 inches long (90%) and my head is still 90%. Good times ahead. Check back soon.

Luke - 31 Months

This has been a big month. Lots of changes for me. I regressed in my potty training a little. Matchbox cars don't matter to me so much. What I do like are scavenger hunts for candy and trips to Mimi's house. If I have an accident I can't do either. Seems to be working. I am even more of a chatter box now than I have been in the past. I saw some outrageous stuff sometimes. I make conversations. I help with grocery lists. I come up with present ideas. Good ones. I'm sleeping better. I'm a little rough on brother but he is learning to fight back. We are going ot have some fun times soon.
I'm still having my chocolate milk every morning. I can't really wake up with out asking for it. I'm sleeping pretty well. I have 3 books at bedtime, prayers and then sleepytime. I wake up and go to mom and dad's room at like 4 or 5 and snooze for a little longer. Its such the life. That and the chocolate shakes Mimi buys me. I'm spoiled rotten.
My nana and pappy came and took care of me this past month. We had a great time. We read books, watched movies, and played and played and played outside. Fun times.
It's warming up outside so I'll be out more and more. Hope to see everyone soon.

Parents' Time Off

Our folks went to Jackson Hole WY without us last week. I hear they had a great time! They said, it sure was cold. Anywhere from 4-40 while they were there. It snowed one day- about 3 inches. Did you know that Jackson Hole is a hard mountain? They didn't know until they got there. So, Mommy did not advance much in her skiing abilities!

The view from about half way up the slopes.

A local watering hole. Mom and Dad said it was like the Chicken kind of. There was a band there. They sang really fast country music. I think mom and dad enjoyed a little time off there.

Here was the pool at their resort. Even heated pools are screaming cold when it is 4 degrees. 4 degrees.

You cannot leave Jackson Hole without being forced to look at the "Sleeping Indian" up on the that mountain over there about forty times. Do you see it? It is his nose and arms crossed over his chest. See it? huh? do you?

Yellowstone

Ok- these are out of order. It is taking too long to upload so they are just going to have to stay jumbled. Mom and Daddy snowmobiled Yellowstone on their trip. They say it was a-mazing. Here are the bison at some of the thermal pools. Mom and Dad brought me some bison teeth.

Silica rock at the prismatic pools.
At the last falls, Moose falls, there was a "slide" down to the falls. It was fun to slide down at the end of a long ride.
A snow bank as tall as mom. Sweet suit, huh?
Helmet heads.
The coyote that welcomed Mom and Dad into the park. Poor thing ran over a mile in front of the van because it was too freaked/cold to jump into the snow banks.

Kepler falls.

Ahhchoo. Old Faithful.

Viola.

Mom and Dad were not alone in the park.

Super Bowl- 3D

Mimi and Buddy's place has a name and a logo now!

They had a few sweets there. I totally indulged. Cupcakes, cookies, strawberries. I ate all the strawberries.
How do these things work? I have a big head but it was no challenge for these glasses.

Posing with Mimi and her friends. We figured out how to get my glasses to stay on . . . party hat!

Byman Family Excitement

I am broadening my horizons learning to make rice krispy treat desserts for Mimi's super bowl party.

Party in the bathtub- no water necessary. Just add Luke and Davis to a bathtub full of towels and balloons from Daddy's birthday party.

For historical purposes, Mommy wanted to document how Davis holds his paci. It is not normal. He tucks the bottom of the paci into his lower lip (much like a dip). This is the only way he can keep it in his mouth. Whatever it takes to use the quiet button.

Tia came to hang out with me and Davis last week while Mimi had some doctor appointments. We wore her out. Big time.

Cute brother picture, sans one Davis sock.

I love building towers.

Dirty Mouth. This is Mommy and Daddy's favorite recent picture of Davis. He was having so much funny eating a tiny amount of pudding left over in Daddy's dessert cup.

One morning before work Mommy took me to get donuts and kolaches. Kolache Factory had a grand opening celebration and I spun a wheel and won this super fly hat. It really topped off my outfit.

Fun Day Off

On MLK day we went to the Children's Museum with Conner and Caroline. It was fun but not as fun as it used to be because the Toddler Room is under construction (lame).

The Stroller Bunch.

After the museum we went to the "BIG Park" by our house. We had a picnic and played. It was fun too.

Veronica came with us to the museum and painted my face. I love face painting.
Conner and I were banking at the museum. Just like our moms- Conner was depositing while I was withdrawing. I might need to hang out with Courtney to learn to save!

A few random things...

Last Sunday at Church Luke asked "Is God Here?". Mommy and Daddy had to explain that the Priest was not God, but instead, worked for God. Luke seemed satisfied.

Congratulations are in order

Yay to our RSC neighbors who ran the half marathon in January. They did great! Mommy aspires to do it next year (finally). Congrats to all the other runners. Such a cool accomplishment.

Also, so late, but congrats to our Aunt Marsha and her fiance Matt (I already call him uncle Matt). They got engaged right before Christmas. Summer wedding. We are all looking forward to it.

Daddy's Birthday Party/Concert

Daddy turned 33 a few weeks ago. 1/3 of a century. I was so excited and planned his entire birthday party. We had balloons, turkey burgers and yellow cake with chocolate icing. I also picked the cake decorations. It was a construction cake (my other choices were bike cake or pine tree cake). It was a good time.

Because I made the cake, I helped Daddy blow it out!
Gimme some cake!

Davis is getting the sugar bug early!

After dinner and cake we had a Rock Band 2 concert. Our family is very talented.
