Back to School 2011

Today we started back to school. We are so ready and excited! All the big kids have been back for two weeks. So come on already, let the learning begin!

Luke is pumped to start Kindergarten-A this year! He is still going to MCP with me and I'm pumped about that!
Luke had some "nerves" about starting school today but I think he settled right in after Mommy and I headed down to my class. To make his day go better he brought his teacher a box of new pencils just for them!
I love school! I wasn't nervous for Mommy to leave at all. I settled right in to puzzle time. I told Mimi this morning that the best thing about starting school in the 3 year old class is that I don't have to take naps anymore!!

40 Months Old

Hi all,

I'm 40 months old (about 3.25 years old!) I've been sweating out the end of summer and I am ready for some cool weather. It is so hot we can rarely go outside to play during the day unless it is to the pool. One night, Daddy did let us play some baseball and we had a blast. I can't wait to be old enough for tball! I've been sleeping a little later these days and even slept later than Luke 2 times in the last few weeks. That has NEVER happened before. I am obsessed with my hair. I need to brush and style it as soon as I wake up, change my clothes, or move my head. I'm always asking if my hair looks ok! We just got back from a week away at Nana and Pappy's house. I handled the trip so well. I didn't cry when Daddy and Mommy dropped us off or when they would call during the week. We had such a good time while we were there too. We went to Chuck E Cheese (twice), an indoor play place, we swam at Aunt Sallys, and made a few trips to get some new toys. I have had such a busy summer that for the last week, I've just been hanging out. I am enjoying playing with my Star Wars guys and with the tinker toys. I like to have my rest time but not too much rest time! I'm looking forward to my 3 year old class starting.
