Davis- 27 Months

"Ni Hao" internet. Daddy, brother and I greet each other with this Chinese phrase now... it's kinda like our secret handshake.

We just had a great weekend in Marshall at Nana and Pappy's. We swam both days in Aunt Sally and Uncle Floyd's pool and Uncle Floyd spoiled us with sodas, ice cream, candy and cookies. We also got to ride in the Runyan's cool new boat.

The big news is... I'M NOW PACI FREE! I left my last two in Marshall for my future cousin to use and the paci fairy visited me when we got home. I now have a pile of lollypops, balls and other toys to help me celebrate this milestone. Later.

Ni Hao!

This summer has been awesome. After three camps, a summer soccer season and the best birthday party ever, I've been enjoying some relaxing days just hanging with my brother and swimming at Mimi's house. I've recently taken an interest in letters and reading and Daddy and I work on my reading most nights during dinner.
I'm also turning into quite the "techie". I love playing on my Leapster, mom's Ipod and dad's computer. In this picture I'm a pirate running around sword fighting and shooting cannons. Though these things are great for passing the time indoors during this summer heat, I'm not as computer crazy as my brother is about the Ipod (that guy is serious about the Ipod) and I would still rather be playing baseball or swimming. my newest trick in the pool is called the "tornado" where I go under water and twist around in circles a few times.
I'm looking forward to school starting in a few weeks and hopefully meeting some new friends.
Bye.

Waterlogged in East Texas

We went to Marshall this weekend. We played at Aunt Sally's and at Nana and Pappy's. We also went out to Caddo Lake and tried our hand at wakeboarding. Daddy got right up because Mr. Runyan has a rad boat made for wake boarding. I never got up but with about another hour or two of practicing I think I could have done it. I did get quite a feel for getting pulled behind the boat. I even tubed at Nana and Pappy's the next day.

Here we are getting ready.
Check out Cade. He learned to jump the wake while we were there. How awesome is that? He is not even 5 yet.
Hamming up for the camera. Isn't this boat spectacular?

Another ham...Davis wasn't such a fan of the boat but he came around.

Welcome Baby Finn

Our friend Keegan has a new baby brother -- Finn. We got to visit him when he was just a few days old. Mommy saw Ms. Farrell the day before Finn was born - she kind of had a feeling he was going to appear soon after that. We can't wait to see him grow up and start plaing with us.

Futbol in Houston

Mommy and Daddy got to go to the MLS All-Star game (thanks to the Williams family). They played Mann U. Well, they were all on the field but the All-Stars got spanked.

Despite the spanking, MLS put on a great show.

Daddy got to go down on the field so he could get Mom a close up of Lexi.
