February 2013

Mommy's car is rolling right along, past 100,000!
Daddy took this picture on his way to work one day.  It inspired us so much that we headed down to the Pleasure Pier and to had lunch with Daddy too.
But first, we stopped at La King's candy store on the strand.  Mommy remembers going there when she was little.
Daddy showed us all the cool things going on at his jobsite.
Then we headed down to the pier.  At first, we were just going to look but then we saw that it was half price day so we took advantage.  It was a lot more fun than mom thought it would be!

 Bumper cars! Just our size.
 This was fun!
 So was this!
And we even got to touch the sand.
Here's an Archie picture.  It has been a while.
 Go Texan day for Silvercrest!
On Go Texan day Luke's school hosts a Kindergarten Rodeo.  It was a lot of fun and Mom helped with the horseshoe booth.
 Luke's class of cowboys!
We call this City Roping!

January 2013

We had a blast in January.  We  both played basketball, had some warm temperatures and celebrated Daddy's birthday!
Check out the golf cart Michael and Mimi got for Christmas.
 Buddy caught a keeper.
Micahel got boxing gloves for Christmas and a punching bag.  We tried them out!
How about those Aggies? Johnny Football! Even we cheered for the Aggies and not just to make our folks happy.  They were actually good this year!!
We loved Upwards basketball too! What a fun way to spend your Saturday.
Luke had some seriously crazy hair after intense quarters at Upwards.  Luke has some bball skills.  He did not get those from Mommy!
Mommy ran another half marathon...in the rain...and the cold. Enough about that.
Luke had his 100th day! He made a shirt with googly eyes that looks like a monster and he did it mainly by himself.  Pretty good, right?
Baseball tryouts started in January.  Daddy is coaching this year.  His team is the Giants.
 Happy 37th Daddy! !
 Just another January in Texas!
A collage of our Valentines' days.  We had a great day filled with parties and topped it off with Valentine's dessert fondue.
We both did the Winter Dash again.
We also celebrated Travis' bday.  He had a flag football game. With real jerseys.  So fun.
D was a referee, substitute player, Saints supporter, you get the idea!

Christmas Celebrations!

These pics are all out of order but show that we had a fantastic Christmas this year.  We got to spend time with lots of family and friends.  We had a lot of fun and acted silly too.   Hope yours was great!

What a party!

Mommy got invited to a Christmas party hosted by a big plaintiff's lawyer in Houston.  The invitation was an actual train set.  The host asks for donations for an orphanage he supports in Guatemala.  The party is at his house in north Houston.  He has a petting zoo, train, and even a church on his property all the time.  For the party, he brings in tons of carnival rides, a ferris wheel, lots of jumpy things, Santa Claus and a concert guest. This year, the concert guests were FAITH HILL and TIM MCGRAW!! At his house.  How cool is that?
Mom says we were the best dressed kids there!

Oh yes, he has a huge playground on his property too.  What a spread.  We had a great time and donated to the orphanage too!
